The Bensalem Township Board of School Directors at their May 24, 2022 meeting approved the appointment of Nicole M. Copestick to the position of Assistant Principal at Bensalem High School. She is replacing Dr. Diana Garaitonandia who will be leaving the district to join the Centennial School District.

Every year the NAMM Foundation creates a list of the Best Communities for Music Education. We are proud to announce that Bensalem Township School District was awarded this honor and is now one of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Best Communities for Music Education!

Students from Bensalem Township School District attended the State Competition of the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science held from May 15 through May 17, 2022 at Penn State University, State College. Thousands of students from all over Pennsylvania presented their scientific research at this annual competition.

At their January 25th meeting, the Bensalem Township Board of School Directors approved the appointment of Joseph Langowski as Director of Human Resources.  Mr. Langowski will be joining our team on May 2.

Bensalem High School (BHS) has amazing educators doing wonderful things; inspiring both students and colleagues alike. As a result, a small committee of teachers decided to start a Teacher of the Year award at BHS. This is a teacher-started and teacher-led initiative.
