Employee Wellness

Dear District Staff,

Welcome- I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce the revitalized Employee Wellness Committee. This year the Employee Wellness Committee is working very closely with Bucks/Montgomery Health Care Consortium and Health Advocate to offer many exciting programs and services. These programs and services will help our goal of supporting the wellness of all employees in the Bensalem Township School District.

Our Focus

This year we’re focusing on providing programs and incentives that support the employee education efforts. We are inviting staff to join the various events taking place throughout the remainder of the year. Events are spread out among the district, with various times in hopes of reaching various groups of employees.

Help!

With goals this big we are asking for some help getting the word out. We are asking for a representative from each building or additional department (Transportation and Maintenance.) This representative will be required to have an e-mail address and relay wellness committee information to the staff of your building. Please e-mail the Wellness Committee [email protected] to let us know your interest.

Got an idea?

Are you interested in starting your own initiative i.e. Yoga or Zumba in your building, A School Weight Loss Competition, Walking or Running group etc.

*Note- since Health Advocate is a function of the Bucks/Montgomery Health Care Consortium, the website only currently recognizes insured employees. Employees that are not insured with the district are welcome to join, however you will need to notify us so that we can add the names as permitted staff. When the information is relayed and accepted, you are welcome to create a login and profile.
