Your responses to the following questions will help us tailor the content to meet your expectations.
Q: What is the BSCA Grant?
A: The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) grant, allocated in Pennsylvania, is specifically designed to enhance school safety, mental health resources, and overall student well-being. This funding supports initiatives that foster a safe and inclusive learning environment by addressing critical areas such as violence prevention, mental health access, and positive school culture. In our district, we are focusing on the implementation of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). We have invested in Character Strong to promote character development, partnered with Care Solace to expand mental health resources for students and families, and are developing a district-wide restorative practice plan to build stronger relationships and address conflicts constructively. These efforts aim to ensure every student feels supported, valued, and ready to thrive.
