Mrs. Briggs wears many hats at Valley. She is a Wilson-certified reading teacher, working with students across multiple grade levels to help them build crucial literacy skills. In addition to her role as an educator, she is starting a student-led coffee cart, Dexter’s Café, which not only serves delicious treats to Valley staff, but also provides valuable learning opportunities for students.
Her commitment to empowering students shines through her work as the sponsor of Valley's 6th-grade girls' group, Club Ophelia, where she fosters leadership, confidence, and a sense of community. Mrs. Briggs also serves on several school-level teams, contributing to the ongoing success of programs and initiatives.
