Dear Bensalem Community,
Over the course of the current school year, with the purpose of supporting students and staff and as a result of prolonged planning and careful consideration, school building start times and staff hours will be modified in the 2022-2023 school year. These modifications will provide targeted learning opportunities for students, additional staff professional development and collaboration opportunities, and create efficiencies in planning transportation routes. All school building start and end times will be adjusted by 10 minutes for the 2022-2023 school year.
The new building and transportation schedules will allow many of our high school students to avoid standing at bus stops prior to sunrise. Additionally, it will provide valuable time after the student day for teachers to collaborate, plan for, and provide intensified instruction in Mathematics and English Language Arts for all students at all levels.
We look forward to all the upcoming exciting end-of-year activities district wide and thank you for your continued support of the Bensalem Township School District.
